ORSAY Museum scheduled Batobus Stop

Actually, this is a stop for trains. Before becoming home to all currents of nineteenth century European art, Orsay was a train station. The thousands of people who visit the museum every day, don't seem to have disturbed this secret and discreet area. Most of the magnificent private mansions built by 18th century noblemen, are now government ministries and foreign embassies. Even if the heavy doors, behind which monumental decisions are made, only open to allow official limousines to enter, the Faubourg-Saint-Germain is not just a haven for politicians and diplomats. A walk around the area will enable you to discover the most beautiful buildings in Paris, in a neighbourhood which has kept its secrets, even from the Parisians.
