Falls is quite beautifully located in Northern Zululand next
to the southern border of Swaziland and hosts two exclusive
luxury lodges – as well as a tremendous diversity of
wildlife, including lion, elephant, white rhino, buffalo,
cheetah, leopard, hippo, crocodile, plains game and hundreds
of species of bird life.
Perched
by the thundering, billowing waterfalls of the majestic
Mkuze River, Mkuze Falls Lodge is acknowledged as one of
South Africa’s most exclusive accommodations, featuring
eight luxuriously appointed thatched chalets and one safari
suite which accommodates 18 guests in the utmost comfort and
style. Each room boasts its own secluded plunge pool and

Mkuze Falls Tented Lodge *****
Upstream, on a sweeping bend of the Mkuze River, this
luxurious East African-style tented camp raised on stilts
offers guests a more adventurous, but no less indulgent
experience, one that recalls the lifestyle of Hemingway.
Five impeccably appointed bedrooms afford stunning views.
Each tent is tastefully decorated in the style of a bygone
romantic era and features an en-suite bathroom,
air-conditioning and private viewing deck. A separate Boma
in the heart of the bush is the scene for native
performances, tribal dances and a typical S. African evening
“braai”, or BBQ, which together constitute the perfect way
